St. Mark's Volunteers (aka The Purple Angels) are a 501(c)(3) organization comprised of men and women who are dedicated to making visitors and patients feel welcome at St. Mark's Medical Center. Many individuals volunteer for regular shifts, which are typically 4 hours per week (see full list below); but there are also opportunities for those who wish to volunteer occasionally by substituting, donating baked goods, working special events, etc.

Proceeds from volunteer fundraising endeavors are designated for the benefit of St. Mark's educational scholarships and facility equipment needs. The volunteers have raised thousands of dollars for scholarship and equipment, helping to make St. Mark's Medical Center one of the most technologically advanced medical facilities in the region.
