St. Mark’s Medical Center Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is focused on helping people recover from heart attacks, heart surgery and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures such as stenting and angioplasty. We provide education to help heart patients increase physical fitness, reduce cardiac symptoms, improve health and reduce the risk of future problems.

Participants in our program will receive an initial evaluation. A physical activity program is tailored to each person’s individual needs and limitations. Patients are continuously supervised and monitored closely during exercise. Education on modifiable risk factors is provided on an individual and group basis. Our goal is to help patients understand their heart condition and to assist and support patients as they return to an active and healthier life through exercise and lifestyle changes.
