We deeply regret that St. Mark’s Medical Center ceased operations effective 7 am, October 12, 2023, due to ongoing, insurmountable financial difficulties.
St. Mark's, a 100,000-square foot 501(c)(3) not-for-profit hospital, had served the central Texas communities of Fayette and Lee Counties, and surrounding areas. St. Mark's held a clinical affiliation with St. David's HealthCare-Austin.
